Our client in Santanyí had a clear vision for the renovation of their vacation home, located in a prime spot on Mallorca’s east coast. They sought a rustic and relaxed style that combined elements like clay tiles, built-in wooden furniture, and the Ibizan charm of whitewashed walls, all while embracing modern comforts and incorporating high-end appliances.
The kitchen posed a particular challenge due to its somewhat complex layout, making the arrangement of elements more difficult.
The space has been designed with built-in furniture by Doca Grain, made from reclaimed pine, slatted and bleached, in a natural oak tone. It features a premium hardware system with soft-close doors and drawers, warm LED lighting, Legrabox drawers, and custom-made brass handles. A splash of color is provided by a wall covered with glossy rectangular tiles in beige and aquamarine tones, adding a vibrant and fresh contrast to the rustic atmosphere of the kitchen.
The kitchen is made up of a series of independent modules, integrated into whitewashed masonry structures, and is complemented by a natural stone worktop that includes a sink carved from the same material.
Highlights of this kitchen:
- A breakfast unit made of the same material, with an interior worktop, sockets and concealed space for the coffee machine.
- Quooker Fusion Round tap in brass finish, providing boiling and filtered water, carbonated or still.
- Bora Pure induction hob with integrated surface-mounted extractor fan and external extraction.
- Gaggenau oven with handmade door, 17 cooking methods, thermoprobe, rotating rotisserie and pizza stone.
- Two Liebherr side-by-side combi refrigerators.
- Integrated high-capacity wine cooler from Liebherr with a capacity of 83 bottles.
- In addition to the main kitchen, the project includes a kitchenette and a laundry area, both in the same rustic Mediterranean style.
